About Our Doctor

Dr. Geetika Chawla is an Orofacial Pain specialist and has been providing TMJ, Craniofacial Pain and Sleep Apnea treatment to patients for over twenty five years. She attended Dental College at Rohtak, India and graduated with the highest honors in 1985. She was declared the best graduate of the year and was awarded the University gold medal for her achievements during the course of her studies. She went on to pursue higher studies at the same University and earned a Masters degree in Orthodontics in 1992.

She relocated to the US as a research scholar in 1994 and did a Post-doctoral training in TMJ and Orofacial Pain, at UCLA School of Dentistry. She then completed her Master's level training as a full time Resident in the same field from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1997. Dr. Chawla has trained under the most renowned experts in her field and is able to provide superior care to her patients. She is also an experienced educator herself. She was appointed as a faculty member in the department of TMJ and Orofacial pain at the University of Minnesota after completing her residency. later on, she served as an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba, Canada. She had also served as an Assistant Professor in India prior to relocating to the US. In 2001, she moved to the beautiful pacific northwest and has been practicing in Washington State since then.

Dr. Chawla is compassionate and provides cutting edge treatment with care and dedication. She is very experienced in treating a variety of orofacial pain conditions, headaches, and temporomandibular disorders. She also has training and expertise in dental management of patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. She uses comfortable dental appliances for treating such patients who cannot, or prefer not to use the CPAP machine.
